Throughout her career, she has built a strong reputation for leading cross-functional teams, managing risk, improving technical operations, and deploying digital banking solutions that make everyday financial tools smoother and more reliable.”
The company further described her as an accomplished business leader and former banking executive with extensive experience spanning commercial, retail, and digital banking, risk management, and technology-led transformation.
It highlighted her proven track record in scaling operations, spearheading enterprise-wide digital solutions, and optimizing credit systems, noting that she is recognized for driving financial inclusion through innovative technology and strategic partnerships while consistently delivering high-value growth in competitive markets.
Before assuming the role at Chamsmobile, Dr. Aofolaju worked extensively as a business advisor and change consultant. She has designed and launched innovative digital technology solutions for organizations across manufacturing, education, healthcare, oil and gas, and telecommunications, with a consistent focus on building strong partnerships and executing transformative projects that deliver measurable results.

Dr. Aofolaju’s professional journey includes senior roles in business development, IT transformation, credit risk management, and lending transformation within major banking institutions, where she led initiatives in client acquisition, process automation, risk assessment, and the development of new lending products.

She has also served as Chief Executive Officer of a technology solutions firm, driving B2B business development, strategic partnerships, and the implementation of digital solutions across multiple sectors, and contributes as a board member providing governance and oversight for a women-focused non-profit organization.
She supports her practical experience with a strong academic and professional foundation, including alumni status from the Lagos Business School, advanced business degrees specializing in Fintech and IT management from the United Kingdom, and executive education in digital strategy from the University of Oxford. She is also a recognized Fellow and Associate of several prominent banking and credit administration institutes both locally and internationally.
