FSD Africa has appointed Rolake Akinkugbe-Filani and Ramatoulaye Adama Diallo as Non-Executive Directors to its Board, in a move to strengthen leadership at a integral moment for continent’s financial systems.
These appointments bring together two highly experienced female leaders with deep expertise across energy finance, infrastructure, development finance, and digital financial systems, aligned with FSD Africa’s mandate to build resilient and investable markets across the continent.
Rolake Akinkugbe-Filani is a leading voice in energy finance and infrastructure investment, with experience spanning over 30 African markets. As founding CEO of EnergyInc Advisors, and through senior roles at Ecobank Transnational Incorporated, FBNQuest, Mixta Africa (now ARM), and Zenith Bank Plc, she has played a key role in structuring transactions and mobilising capital in complex markets.

Ramatoulaye Adama Diallo brings extensive cross-sector leadership across financial services, fintech, and digital platforms, with experience across Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and the United States. Her career spans senior roles at Morgan Stanley, Orange, Etisalat Services Holding, and Google, where she has led work at the intersection of financial systems, innovation, and inclusion.
Their appointment reflects FSD Africa’s continued commitment to strong governance, market development, and long-term economic transformation across Africa.
