The Alpha Group International has announced the appointment of Funke AlomoOluwa as Founder Regional Director for Nigeria, marking a significant step in the organisation’s expansion of its high-level advisory platform across the country.
A seasoned transformational leader with more than two decades of experience spanning corporate and national levels, AlomoOluwa brings a distinguished record of strategic leadership and operational excellence. She is a two-time Chief Executive Officer and a former Executive Director of a publicly quoted company, with deep expertise at the intersection of strategy, operations, people and process. Her career is defined by a consistent ability to translate ambitious strategy into disciplined execution at scale.
Among her notable achievements, AlomoOluwa previously led the comprehensive transformation of ChamsAccess, a subsidiary of Chams Holdco. Under her stewardship, the organisation recorded meaningful improvements in both corporate culture and financial performance.
She also played a pivotal role in the design and nationwide implementation of the Bank Verification Number (BVN) programme, widely regarded as one of Africa’s largest biometric identity initiatives, which was rolled out across approximately 5,000 bank branches.
An alumna of Obafemi Awolowo University, AlomoOluwa is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from Lagos Business School. She is also the founder of MaDop Professional Services, a boutique advisory consulting firm dedicated to helping founders build structured, sustainable and transgenerational institutions.
In her new capacity at The Alpha Group International, Funke AlomoOluwa will facilitate confidential, high-level peer-to-peer advisory boards for chief executives, founders and business owners across Nigeria. These carefully structured boards convene experienced, non-competing leaders—one representative per industry—to challenge, support and hold one another accountable as they pursue their most critical business objectives.
