Chinwe Egwim appointed Chief Economist of FirstBank of Nigeria LTD

A World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, Chinwe Egwim operates at the forefront of economic decision-making, bringing 16+ years of experience across financial markets, policy engagement, and global platforms. Her work has been recognised across leading institutions and stages globally, shaping how markets are interpreted and how organisations respond to shifting economic conditions.

Her career spans roles across the Central Bank of Nigeria, Fitch Ratings, FBNQuest Merchant Bank, Coronation Merchant Bank, and Collaborative for Frontier Finance, alongside her work as a National Consultant on a United Nations programme under UNECA and UNCTAD, contributing to economic analysis, forecasting, and executive-level decision-making across markets and institutions.
