Olajumoke Agbetanmije has joined Deloitte Nigeria as the new Nigeria Sustainability Officer, reporting directly to the Chief Sustainability Officer for West Africa.
In her new role, which commenced in April 2026, Agbetanmije will play a key part in advancing Deloitte’s WorldClimate initiative, focusing on sustainability strategy, climate action, and impactful environmental, social, and governance (ESG) programs across the country. She is expected to drive initiatives that promote responsible business practices, innovation, and measurable progress toward a more sustainable future.
Expressing her enthusiasm, Agbetanmije said: “I’m thrilled to share that I have joined Deloitte as the Nigeria Sustainability Officer. In this role, I will support the execution of Deloitte’s WorldClimate objectives, driving initiatives focused on sustainability, climate action, and creating impact that truly matters. Agbetanmije brings considerable expertise in sustainability and corporate responsibility to the position. Before joining Deloitte, she served as a Sustainability Specialist at Seven Up Bottling Company, where she led ESG data collection and reporting, supported recycling and circular economy projects, and coordinated employee engagement programs on green practices. She also held roles as Sustainability Analyst and Learning & Development Analyst at the same organization.

Her broader professional background includes experience as Business Associate at RECYCLEDGE, where she provided sustainability advisory and business development support, as well as various roles in operations, administration, and talent development across Providence Recycling Inc., Dufil Prima Foods Plc, and other organizations.
