FanMilk hires Oreoluwa Atinmo as new MD

-First female to lead the food company

FanMilk Nigeria has announced the appointment of Oreoluwa Atinmo as its new Managing Director, effective April 1, 2026. This landmark appointment marks a historic milestone, as Atinmo becomes the first woman to lead the iconic Nigerian dairy and beverages company.

In a statement on its official LinkedIn page, FanMilk described the move as a reflection of its commitment to fostering diverse talent, advancing inclusion, and strengthening local leadership. The company expressed confidence in Atinmo’s ability to drive the next phase of growth, innovation, and consumer engagement in Nigeria’s competitive FMCG sector.

With nearly two decades of distinguished experience in marketing, brand management, and commercial leadership across multinational organisations, Atinmo brings a wealth of expertise to her new role.

Most recently, she served as Marketing Director at GBfoods Nigeria, where she delivered remarkable results, including double-digit growth in the Wet Condiments category, successful launches of innovative products such as Asun Seasoning Cubes, and a transformative digital and content marketing strategy that significantly improved marketing ROI.

Prior to GBfoods, Atinmo held several senior roles at The HEINEKEN Company in Nigeria, where she managed premium international brands including Tiger Lager, Strongbow Cider, and Stella Artois. She also served in regional category management positions across Africa, developing strategic growth plans and driving innovation pipelines for core categories.

Her career began with engineering and technical roles at Shell and Imperial College London before transitioning into marketing and commercial leadership, giving her a unique blend of analytical rigour and consumer-focused creativity.
