National Commercial Bank Jamaica Limited (NCB) has appointed Sheree Martin as its Chief Executive Officer, effective September 1, 2026. The appointment was announced through the bank’s official LinkedIn page.
Sheree Martin becomes the first woman to hold the CEO position in NCB Jamaica history. She brings more than 20 years of executive leadership experience, deep institutional knowledge of the bank, a strong understanding of its customers, and a practical, hands-on approach to delivery.
In its announcement, NCB said Martin will lead the bank’s continued efforts to empower its people, improve how services are delivered, and strengthen the everyday customer experience.

Martin has held a series of senior roles at NCB in recent years. She served as Interim Chief Executive Officer, following a stint as Chief Operating Officer .
Prior to that, she was Executive Vice President of Retail Banking and Senior General Manager of Retail Banking. Earlier, she held the position of General Manager for Organizational Health and Client Experience.
Before returning to senior leadership at NCB, Martin worked as Senior Vice President at New Fortress Energy and as Senior Vice President at Jamaica Public Service Company Limited. She previously spent nearly a decade in executive roles at NCB between 2004 and 2013.
NCB congratulated Martin on the appointment, highlighting her long track record within the organization and her readiness to guide the bank through its next phase of growth and customer-focused transformation.
